the austin taylorettes

Tonight a few of us went to Muse music to see our good friend Austin Taylor play a show. Unfortunately, this is what we saw instead:

there was a couple dancing, alone, in the middle of the floor THE WHOLE TIME. SERIOUSLY and the girl wore really bad pants (see video)


i made extended eye contact with the girl a couple times and i had to physically restrain myself from laughing out right or giving her a dirty look. Jenny was being offered $200 to cut in. after the 3rd song or so (the couple danced through every single one, by the way) austin said "the winners of the dance contest are couple number 13! everyone give them a hand" they didn't get the hint and continued to dance totally off beat for the next hour. i didn't mind it most of the time, it was pretty entertaining, it was just the grinding that made me uncomfortable. there was no way you could fit a book of mormon in between them, even a pocket-sized one.
